Nice to meet you! I'm David.

Who I am

I'm a UX-focused engineer driving human-centred design, based in Switzerland. With a background in electronics engineering, I completed a Bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus on human-computer interaction design at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Design with specialisation in Digital Ideation at the same university.

What I do

I'm currently working as a Engineer in UX-focused product development, serving as a point of contact for user-facing and interaction design decisions within an engineering-led team. I program primarily in Python and collaborate with distributed teams to align technical execution with product usability goals.

What I can do

I'm a fast learner and can adapt quickly to new technologies.
I'm fluent in German (native speaker), English (C2), Portuguese (C1) and I also understand some French (B1) and some Spanish (~B1).
My favourite computer languages are Python and TypeScript, but I've also used others and I'm always open to learning new ones.
I use Penpot and Figma for prototyping and UI design, Affinity for vector graphics, DaVinci Resolve for video editing, and FL Studio for music production and sound editing.
